Derwentwater:
Derwentwater is a short walk from the centre of Keswick town centre. With gorgeous views, you can take a trip on the boat across the lake or you can walk Catbells walk around the other side of the lake. There is a great selection of water sports and activities or you can simply grab a coffee and a cake and take in the views. 
 
Hill Top:
Hill Top was Beatrix Potter the famous children’s author and illustrated most beloved place and home, full of all her favourite things. It is left exactly how she left it as if she had just stepped out for a walk so that visitors to enjoy and see where the creations of Petter Rabbit were thought up and made into the storybooks.
 
Keswick Cookery School:
The Cookery School is owned by the TV Chef and Author Peter Sidwell, where you can go and share his passion for food in the heart of the English Lake District. It’s only 5 mins away from Laural Bank Guest House a great fun class to do with friends family or loved ones while staying with us.
 
Keswick Wildlife Park:
Our local wildlife park is a short drive from our Guest House in Keswick. The 24 acres of parkland has over 1000 species of amazing animals for you to visit. You can even take a yoga class with Lemurs.
Go Ape:
Go Ape Whinlatter is 12 mins away in the car from our Guest House, the multi-award-winning and original forest adventure set high up in the canopy. You can enjoy time on zip wires, walking through the trees, Tarzan swings, rope ladders and a variety of other fun activities.
 
Wordsworth House and Garden:
The house won Cumbria’s small visitor attraction of the year, you really get the chance to experience life in the 1770s with real food on the table and a fire running. It’s a great chance to see where William Wordsworth lived learned his love of nature, and see the colours, scents and sounds of each season.
