Rob and Ruth are delighted to be taking ownership of Laurel Bank Guesthouse from July 2026. For the remaining part of the year, customers will continue to be welcomed by our 5 * hosts, Sue and Gary. From 2027 we look forward to hosting you ourselves maintaining the exceptional standards and warm welcome guests have come to expect from Laurel Bank Guesthouse.

We will be glad to give full details of special B&B break prices, activities & leisure facilities in Keswick and travel details from any where in the U.K.

We are also happy to help with onward bookings for accommodation in the UK especially for our overseas travellers who are visiting for the first time and perhaps need a little help with the lay of the land or the language! Cumbria of course has a dialect of it’s own, but Gary is on hand to assist having spent a lifetime in the lakes and has actually climbed and stood on every mountain over 2,000 feet.

Transport to our bed & breakfast can be arranged from the local railway stations at Penrith, Carlisle and Windermere. Indeed we are here to help you with any aspect of your visit to the UK including motoring/walking routes, eating out, shopping, leisure facilities and more…
