Keswick also has its own cinema - the historic Alhambra - and there is an excellent new theatre on the shores of Lake Derwentwater. For those not wanting to walk the local taxis are reliable and inexpensive.
Visitors to Laurel Bank B & B can also walk along the scenic route of the Keswick old railway and on to the Keswick Leisure Centre, at the site of the grand Keswick station.
